– A second half explosion from Little Rock turned a six point deficit into a 25-point advantage as the Trojans blew out Troy 84-70 at Trojan Arena Thursday night. The win snaps a five game losing streak for Little Rock and gives the Trojans their first Sun Belt road win of the season, improving to 8-15 on the year and 3-7 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Texas State 74, Appalachian State 71
SAN MARCOS, Texas – Four players scored in double figures to lead the Texas State men's basketball team to a 74-71 victory over Appalachian State Thursday night in Strahan Arena. The win improves Texas State's record to 18-5 overall and 7-3 in Sun Belt Conference play. The loss drops Appalachian State to 9-15 overall, 3-7 in league play.
 
UTA 74, Coastal Carolina 54
ARLINGTON, Texas
– In a battle of teams tied for second place in the Sun Belt Conference, it was UTA (11-12, 7-3 Sun Belt Conference) using a stout defensive effort and an efficient performance on the offensive end to lead the Mavericks into a 1st-place tie with an impressive 74-54 win Thursday night over Coastal Carolina (12-9, 6-4 Sun Belt) inside the College Park Center.

South Alabama 70, Arkansas State 62
MOBILE, Ala. – Herb McGee and Josh Ajayi combined to score 44 points as South Alabama held off Arkansas State 70-62 in a Sun Belt Conference game on Thursday night. The Jaguars split the season series with Arkansas State. The Red Wolves won the first meeting January 10 in Jonesboro, 66-65.
