ARLINGTON, Texas
– Behind near double-double performances from Brian Warren and Andres Ibarguen, UTA (12-12, 8-3 Sun Belt) remained in a tie for first place in the Sun Belt Conference with a 78-68 win over Appalachian State (8-16, 3-8 Sun Belt) Saturday at the College Park Center. Warren scored a game-high 22 points – his fourth 20+ performance of the season – and issued a season-high nine assists while not committing a single turnover and shooting 50 percent (9-18) from the floor. Ibarguen, who went off for 12 and 15 Thursday, contributed 10 points and nine rebounds to narrowly miss what would have been consecutive double-doubles.

Troy 84, Arkansas State 79
Troy, Ala.
– Sophomore Javan Johnson tied his career high in points allowing Troy to snap a four-game losing streak with an 84-79 win over Arkansas State in Sun Belt Conference men's basketball action in Trojan Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Trojans (11-12, 4-7 Sun Belt) shot 54.7 percent (29-of-53) from the field including a blistering 46.2 percent (12-of-26) from behind the arc while limiting the Red Wolves (10-14, 4-7 Sun Belt) to only five made threes (5-of-20) to secure the regular-season sweep. 

Little Rock 73, South Alabama 68
MOBILE, Ala.
– Showing its resilience once again, Little Rock rallied from a nine-point halftime deficit to register its second-straight road win, upending South Alabama 73-68 Saturday at the Mitchell Center. Trailing by as many as 10 in the first half and 38-29 at the break, Little Rock outscored South Alabama 44-30 in the second half to improve to 9-15 on the year and 4-7 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Texas State 65, Coastal Carolina 57
SAN MARCOS, Texas
– Nijal Pearson scored 17 points and Texas State beat Coastal Carolina 65-57 on Saturday. Alex Peacock added 14 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Bobcats (19-5, 8-3 Sun Belt). Tre'Larenz Nottingham also had 14 points.
