— A one-hit shutout in which Appalachian State freshman Luke Drumheller tied an NCAA single-game record with five doubles started a doubleheader sweep of Furman and Michigan State on Sunday. Playing in the First Pitch Invitational at Fluor Field, the Mountaineers won 14-0 against the Paladins on Sunday morning and 9-6 against the Spartans on Sunday afternoon. App State (6-8) led 7-6 before Riley Smith hit a two-run homer in the ninth inning of the finale, and Kaleb Bowman pitched four innings of scoreless relief to set up a save opportunity for Andrew Papp.

- Georgia Southern Baseball exacted some revenge on Sunday afternoon, battering UNC Asheville 14-0 to win the season's final non-conference weekend series. Daniel Collins worked six and a third shutout innings, tossing 100 pitches with eight strikeouts to improve to 2-0 on the year. Noah Ledford had a pair of solo home runs while Blake Evans was 4-for-5 on the day.

– Senior right-hander Connor Reich had a solid showing on the mound and Will Hollis reached base all five he came to the plate as the Texas State baseball team (10-6) was able to salvage the series with 25th-ranked UConn (7-6) on Sunday with a 5-3 win Sunday afternoon at Bobcat Ballpark.

- The ULM baseball team wrapped up a victory in a game that was suspended on Saturday night, winning 10-5 over McNeese State, before dropping the series finale to the Cowboys 10-2 on Sunday at Warhawk Field.

– The Arkansas State baseball completed a doubleheader sweep over Missouri State Sunday evening at Tomlinson Stadium. The Red Wolves defeated the Bears 16-4 in game one and 6-4 in game two. With the win, A-State improves to 11-5 on the season and remain undefeated at home (8-0) while Missouri State fell to 3-9. The Bears had not been swept in nonconference play since 2011.
