Coastal Carolina 6, Arkansas State 0 (Game 1)

– Coastal Carolina baseball head coach Gary Gilmore recorded his 1,200th career win as a collegiate baseball head coach on Saturday, as the No. 10 Chanticleers split a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader with the Arkansas State Red Wolves at Springs Brooks Stadium. Coastal took game one 6-0, while the Red Wolves won game two 7-3.

Arkansas State 7, Coastal Carolina 3 (Game 2)

– The Arkansas State baseball (19-9, 7-1) team split a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader with No. 10 Coastal Carolina (20-8-1, 6-3), Saturday evening at Springs Brooks Stadium. The Chanticleers took game one 6-0, while the Red Wolves took game two 7-3, ultimately winning the series 2-1.

UTA 9, South Alabama 7
ARLINGTON, Texas
– UTA fought off multiple comeback attempts by South Alabama to clinch a series win with a 9-7 home win Saturday afternoon at Clay Gould Ballpark. Connor Aube, Zac Cook and Josh Minjarez each drove in a pair of runs for the Mavs (18-10, 6-2 SBC) in the win.

- Troy Alexander's seventh-inning home run gave the Trojans the edge they needed in their 6-2 victory Saturday afternoon against Georgia State.

Troy 10, Louisiana 6
TROY, Ala.
– Troy racked up seven runs on nine hits in the first two innings of the game to grab an early lead on its way to a 10-6 win to clinch the conference series over Louisiana Saturday afternoon at Riddle-Pace Field. The Trojans (13-13, 3-5) started the game with four consecutive singles to plate a couple of runs, then went on to score two more runs on two more hits in the opening frame. A three-run second – highlighted by a two-RBI double from Sadler Goodwin – put Troy in complete control of the game. Goodwin finished the game 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored.

Texas State 5, Appalachian State 4
BOONE, N.C.
– The Texas State baseball team (18-9, 6-2 Sun Belt) held off a late rally by Appalachian State (10-15, 3-5 Sun Belt) to win 5-4 Saturday afternoon at Smith Stadium. The victory also clinched the Bobcats' second straight Sun Belt Conference series.

ULM 4, Georgia Southern 2
Monroe, La.
- Ty Barnes pitched five strong innings and Blake Buckman and Ryan Humeniuk hit a home run each, as ULM picked up its first Sun Belt Conference win of the season with a 4-2 victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday afternoon at Warhawk Field. The Warhawks (10-17 overall, 1-7 Sun Belt) had dropped their first seven Sun Belt Conference games of the season before erasing an early 1-0 deficit for the Saturday victory over Georgia Southern (14-12, 5-3).

Appalachian State 3, Texas State 0
BOONE, N.C.
— Moving forward from an inauspicious start, Appalachian State Baseball recorded its first home shutout in league play since its first-ever Sun Belt Conference victory in 2015. App State closed its series with top-55 RPI opponent Texas State by winning 3-0 on Sunday at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. Joel McDaniel's second-inning homer was one of three two-out RBIs for the Mountaineers, and the trio of Brandon Boone, Jack Hartman and Kaleb Bowman limited the Bobcats (18-10, 6-3) to five hits.

Little Rock 3, Georgia State 2
LITTLE ROCK
- The Trojans completed the sweep of Georgia State with a walk-off squeeze bunt from Eldridge Figueroa to grab a 3-2 win in the series finale Sunday afternoon at Gary Hogan Field.

Louisiana 4, Troy 3
TROY, Ala.
– A back-and-forth affair went the way of Louisiana on Sunday, which used big bats in critical moments down the stretch to take the final game of the series over Troy, 4-3, at Riddle-Pace Field. Of the team's nine hits, three went for extra bases, including two monster home runs. Louisiana (13-16, 4-5) is now 3-2 on the year when the offense produces multiple homers.
