BOONE, N.C. — Through multiple rain delays and five-run rallies, Appalachian State Baseball clinched a Sun Belt Conference series victory. Kendall McGowan's tiebreaking, two-run, two-out single capped a five-run bottom of the eighth inning Saturday as App State posted a 10-8 win in Game 2 of their weekend home series with ULM. That outcome followed a 3-2 comeback win Friday in Game 1, and the Warhawks held a 3-1 lead in the third inning of a series finale that also began Saturday but was suspended until Sunday because of fog.
Louisiana 8, South Alabama 4
LAFAYETTE – A four-run second inning from South Alabama got the game off to a rocky start, but eight unanswered runs by the Louisiana offense saw the game swing in its favor as the Ragin' Cajuns took Game Two of the series over the Jaguars, 8-4, on Saturday afternoon.
Georgia State 12, Troy 5
ATLANTA -- Griffin Cheney hit his first career home run and drove in three runs to lead Georgia State (11-25, 3-11 Sun Belt) to a 12-5 victory over Troy and a doubleheader split Saturday at the GSU Baseball Complex. Troy (19-17, 7-8) came to win Game 2 of the doubleheader, 10-5, to clinch the series.

Atlanta, Ga. – Troy baseball clinched its third consecutive Sun Belt Conference series as it defeated Georgia State in the second game of the doubleheader, 10-5 after falling short in game one, 12-5 on Saturday at the GSU Baseball Complex.
Texas State 8, Georgia Southern 2
STATESBORO, Ga. – Junior Will Hollis and sophomore John Wuthrich hit back-to-back home runs as part of a seven-run third inning to lead the Texas State baseball team (22-13, 8-6 Sun Belt) to an 8-2 win over Georgia Southern (20-15, 8-6 Sun Belt) Saturday afternoon at J.I. Clements Stadium.
