Ragin' Cajun Offense Comes Alive in 83-43 Win Over Arkansas State
LAFAYETTE – There was not a whole lot that Louisiana did wrong in Thursday night's contest, scoring a season-high 83 points and playing stellar defense in an 83-43 rout of Arkansas State in the Cajundome.
Thursday's 40-point victory marked the largest scoring margin in a Louisiana (12-6, 5-2 SBC) win between the two teams in matchup history and was the team's largest margin of victory over any opponent since defeating Southern-New Orleans, 82-28, on Nov. 19, 2015.

Amber Rivers Joins the 1,000-Point Club In Troy's Win over Texas State
TROY, Ala. – In an impressive 84-50 victory over Texas State on Thursday, Troy women's basketball added another member to its exclusive 1,000-point club as Amber River became the 24th Trojan to score 1,000 points in her career.
Troy was in a groove Thursday night as they shot 45 percent from the field, their highest percentage this season, on 33-of-72 shooting. From behind-the-arc the Trojans shot 34 percent, their highest percentage since Jan. 4 when they shot 38 percent, on 8-of-23 shooting. On the glass Troy had one of their best games of the season as they grabbed 65 rebounds, third most this season, while also outrebounding Texas State by 38, the second largest margin since having a +39 advantage against AUM. At the free line Troy went 10-of-16 with eight of those makes coming from Japonica James.

MOBILE, Ala. – Four players scored in double figures as the UT Arlington women's basketball team defeated South Alabama, 68-45, snapping the Jaguars' three-game winning streak on Thursday night (Jan. 23) at the Mitchell Center.
With the win, UTA improves to 12-7 overall and 6-1 in Sun Belt play, while South Alabama falls to 9-10 on the season and 4-3 in league action.
