Freshman Andrew Bennett scored his first two career goals and added an assist as Georgia State shut out in-state rival Georgia Southern 3-0 on Friday night. Bennett found the back of the net for the first time in his career in the 33rd minute to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead over the Eagles. He then earned the assist on Matthew Fearnley’s goal in the 57th minute that gave GSU a 2-0 lead. The freshman’s second goal in the 74th minute gave Georgia State a 3-0 lead. He finished with four shots on goal in 72 minutes of action. Earlier in the week, he came off the bench and finished with one shot on goal as the Panthers earned a 4-1 win over UAB to sweep the season series with the Blazers.

Tor continues to have the hot hand in goal for the Chants. He picked up his second shutout of the season in Sunday's overtime win over Central Arkansas. The senior played all 184:31 in goal for CCU and had 18 saves in the two matches. He had a .900 save percentage and a 0.98 goals against average.
