Men's Soccer Players of the Week Announced

Co-Offensive Player of the Week 
Soren Jensen, Central Arkansas
(#7, Sr, M - Copenhagen, Denmark)
 
Jensen recorded the first goal vs Georgia State which turned out to be the game winner in the Bears’ 2-0 win. The senior from Denmark moved into a tie for second in the Sun Belt with four goals on the season.
 
Co-Offensive Player of the Week 
Ethan Hackenberg, Coastal Carolina
(#19, Fr, F - Pittsburgh, Pa)
 
Hackenberg scored the match-winner with only 33 seconds left in the first overtime period in Coastal Carolina’s 2-1 win over Georgia Southern. The win kept the Chants undefeated and in first place in the Sun Belt Conference. The freshman has now scored two goals on the season - both were game-winners.

Schawl recorded his first career shutout against Georgia State in a 2-0 win. He stopped the Panthers’ only shot on goal in the first half. It was the Bears’ first clean sheet of the season.
