ATLANTA – Georgia State fell 10-1 to #15/17 Georgia in six innings Wednesday at the Bob Heck Softball Complex. The Panthers couldn't keep up with the powerful offense of the Bulldogs as Georgia used three home runs to earn the midweek victory.

Georgia Southern 5, Mercer 3
STATESBORO, Ga. – Mekhia Freeman's two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning capped a 5-3 comeback win for Georgia Southern softball over visiting Mercer on Wednesday evening at Eagle Field. The Eagles improved to 4-1 overall and won for the first time against in-state rival Mercer (1-5) since 2013.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – In a that featured three ties and three lead changes, Tara Oltmann drove in the winning run with a single to right field in the bottom of the seventh inning as Texas State beat  I-35 rival UTSA, 4-3, in the first game of the 2020 Bobcat Classic Thursday night at Bobcat Softball Stadium.
