CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Appalachian State went 1-1 in the final day of the Charlotte Invitational. The Mountaineers fell to Virginia in the first game, 9-7, but would end the day with a 4-1 win over Charlotte.
UTA 2, Abilene Christian 0
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Thanks in part to sophomore starting pitcher Allie Gardiner throwing 13 strikeouts and her first career complete-game shutout, UTA (3-2) ended the Aggie Classic with a 2-0 win against Abilene Christian (1-3) on Sunday, edging out Texas A&M (3-2) and ACU for the tournament title. The victory gives head coach Peejay Brun her 200th career win. She has led UTA to two-consecutive 30-win campaigns and the three victories this weekend gives her a .556 winning percentage over her two-plus year career as the Mavs' skipper. Brun needs to rack up just 31 more victories to reach the century mark in wins for her UTA career record.
Army West Point 7, Georgia Southern 5
STATESBORO, Ga. – Army West Point plated two unearned runs in the top of the seventh inning to edge Georgia Southern, 7-5, in the final game of the 2020 Bash in the Boro tournament at Eagle Field on Sunday afternoon.

CLEARWATER, Fla. – South Alabama kept battling, but came up short falling 3-1 to Notre Dame on the final day of the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic presented by Rawlings at the Eddie C. Moore Complex.
Campbell 4, Coastal Carolina 3
CONWAY, S.C. – On Sunday, Coastal Carolina Chanticleer (1-3) dropped a heartbreaker in the final game of the Residence Inn Kickin' Chicken Classic to Campbell. The Camels used a pair of two-run homers off of the Chanticleer starter Kaitlin Beasley-Polko in the top of the sixth and seventh innings to defeat the Chants by the score of 4-3.

TAMPA, Fla. – Georgia State faced #7/#9 Florida Sunday in the final game of the USF-Rawlings Invitational with the ranked Gators winning 10-0 in five innings.
Troy 3, North Florida 0
TROY, Ala. – Leanna Johnson tossed a 3-0, one-hit shutout to power the Trojans past North Florida in the Trojan Classic finale Sunday at the Troy Softball Complex. Johnson (2-1) earns her second shutout victory of the season fanning six batters and giving up just one hit in seven innings of work.
