Sun Belt Conference Announces 2021 Baseball Preseason Honors

New Orleans – Coastal Carolina and Texas State are the East and West Division favorites, respectively, in the Sun Belt Conference baseball preseason coaches’ poll heading into the 2021 season.

2019 Sun Belt Player and Freshman of the Year, South Alabama junior outfielder Ethan Wilson, was tabbed as the Preseason Player of the Year, while Little Rock senior righthander Aaron Funk was tabbed Preseason Pitcher of the Year, in a vote by the league's head coaches.

The 2021 baseball regular season gets underway this week. The Sun Belt Conference Championship is scheduled for May 25-30 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala.
