NEW ORLEANS — Following the conclusion of the regular season Saturday evening, the Sun Belt Conference announced the seeds and pools for the 2021 Guardian Credit Union Sun Belt Baseball Championship presented by Troy University. All 12 teams will compete in the championship, which will be held at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama, from Tuesday, May 25, to Sunday, May 30. 
 
Tickets are now on sale with single-game tickets and all-session tournament booklets available. Prices range from $10 to $25 for a single game and from $50 to $110 for all-session tournament booklets. Each of the 15 games will also be broadcast live on ESPN+. 
 
The Sun Belt Conference tournament will begin with a round-robin pool play format, with the top team from each of the four pools advancing to Saturday’s semifinals. 
 
East Division champion South Alabama, West Division co-champions Louisiana and UTA and East Division runner-up Georgia Southern earned the top seeds in each of the four pools. 

The championship game will be contested at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, and will determine the Sun Belt Conference’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. 
 
Coastal Carolina is the reigning Sun Belt tournament champion, having captured the last title in 2019. The Chanticleers are 1-of-6 Sun Belt baseball programs that currently rank among the Top 125 in the RPI, alongside South Alabama, Georgia Southern, ULM, Louisiana and Troy.
