Pair of Sun Belt Football Games to Air on NFL Network

NEW ORLEANS — In collaboration with ESPN, a pair of Sun Belt football non-conference games—Eastern Michigan at Louisiana and Marshall at Bowling Green—will be broadcast on NFL Network.

The Eastern Michigan at Louisiana game on Saturday, Sept. 10, will kick off at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT. It will be the third all-time meeting between the programs, with the Ragin’ Cajuns having won the most recent matchup, 33-14, in 2006.

The Marshall at Bowling Green game on Saturday, Sept. 17, will kick off at 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT. The non-conference matchup will be the 30th all-time meeting between the programs, with the Thundering Herd having won five of the past eight dating back to 1997.

Heading into the 2022 season, its first as a 14-member football conference, the Sun Belt continues to lead the FBS with a .649 bowl winning percentage since the dawn of the College Football Playoff era in 2014.
