Herd redshirt senior Milo Yosef started the season with a bang as he recorded the first hat-trick of his career in a 5-0 season-opening shutout of VCU. The Aachen, Germany, native wasted little time getting the Herd on the board, tallying his first goal just 2:31 into the contest. Yosef followed with a pair of right-footed volleys in the 42
nd and 65
th minutes to complete the hat trick. The forward had a team-high eight shots, with five coming on goal, in just 67 minutes of play in the season-opening win.
Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Joey Batrouni, Coastal Carolina

Chants sophomore Joey Batrouni started both matches for Coastal Carolina in goal, recording 136:02 total minutes of action to help cement back-to-back season-opening victories. The San Antonio, Texas, native registered eight saves in the opening week of play, tallying a save against USC Upstate while facing nine shots before recording a season-high seven on the road against William & Marry (.778 save percentage).
