Texas State’s Jordan Mason Claims Sun Belt Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

NEW ORLEANS – Texas State sophomore guard Jordan Mason has been tabbed Sun Belt Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Bobcats to a pair of wins in last week’s action.

Mason averaged 19 points, 5.5 assists, five rebounds and 3.5 steals per game while shooting 10-for-21 (.476) from the field and 17-for-22 (.773) at the free throw line. Mason scored 20 points with six rebounds, six assists and four steals against Jarvis Christian, before putting up 18 points, five assists, four boards, and three steals in a 13-point road win at Sam Houston State.
