Pair of Sun Belt Football Games to Air on NFL Network

NEW ORLEANS — In collaboration with ESPN, a pair of Sun Belt football games—Army at ULM and James Madison at Troy—will be broadcast on NFL Network.

The Army at ULM non-conference game on Saturday, Sept. 2, will kick off at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT. The season-opening matchup will be the third over the past four campaigns between the Black Knights and the Warhawks.

The conference opener for both James Madison and Troy on Saturday, Sept. 16, will kick off at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT. The game will be the first-ever Sun Belt Conference meeting between the two teams.

This is the second-straight season that the Sun Belt will have games appear on NFL Network as part of its longstanding relationship with ESPN. The conference previously announced the kickoff times and network designations for the majority of games during the first three weeks of the season, all midweek games throughout the 2023 campaign and the conference’s bowl lineup. 2023 marks the 12th-consecutive year that every Sun belt home game will appear on an ESPN platform.

The Sun Belt is coming off a banner 2022 campaign in which it defeated four autonomy five programs, hosted ESPN’s College GameDay for the second time in conference history, produced a conference-record seven Bowl Season participants and developed a conference-record nine NFL Draft picks.
