NEW ORLEANS – For the second-straight year, Georgia Southern alumnus running back Jerick McKinnon and Marshall product safety Nazeeh Johnson earned Super Bowl rings as members of the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Sun Belt was represented on the game’s biggest stage for the sixth-straight season, with four players competing for either the Kansas City Chiefs or San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
McKinnon had two receptions for 15 yards in his first appearance since Week 15, after returning from the injured reserve list.
