NEW ORLEANS – Seedings and matchups for the 2024 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Men’s Basketball Championship were announced Friday evening following the conclusion of the regular season. 
 
The 2024 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will take place March 5-11 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla., with all 14 Sun Belt institutions competing in the single-elimination tournament.
 
App State claimed the outright regular-season championship and top seed with a 16-2 record in league play. The Mountaineers are 26-5 overall and receiving votes in both the Associated Press Top-25 and USA Today Coaches polls.

The top-four seeds to the tournament include: (1) App State (2) James Madison (3) Marshall and (4) Arkansas State. The top-four seeds earn a double-bye into the quarterfinal round. 

The men’s first-round games take place on Tuesday, March 5 with second-round contests on Thursday, March 7. The men’s quarterfinals take place Saturday, March 9 with semifinals on Sunday, March 10. The championship game is set for 6 p.m. CT on Monday, March 11. 

All games will be broadcast on ESPN+ with the championship game televised by ESPN2.
