Vidal’s Career Rushing Day & White’s Sack Headline Sun Belt Alumni Efforts in NFL Week 13

NEW ORLEANS – Troy alumnus and Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal found the end zone as Old Dominion product and San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White recorded a timely sack to lead Sun Belt Conference alumni performances during Week 13 of the 2025 National Football League (NFL) season.

Sun Belt football alumni held 78 roster spots on 30-of-32 NFL rosters with 43 on active rosters, 22 on practice squads and 13 on injured or other reserve lists. In Week 13 contests, 42 saw game action with 16 earning the start for their respective teams.

Vidal handled 25 carries and ran for a career-high 126 yards and one touchdown, while catching one pass for 11 yards in the Chargers’ 31-14 home win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. On third down and two yards shy of the marker, Vidal took the third play of the second half around the left end before breaking free for a 59-yard rushing touchdown to put the Chargers ahead, 14-7. The rush was a career long and the score was his fourth of the season. Vidal has now eclipsed the 100-yard mark three times this season.

Coastal Carolina alum and Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely turned in his best offensive performance of the year with five receptions for a season-high 95 yards in a 32-14 home defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving evening.

Also in the scoring column, Denver Broncos kicker and Georgia State alumnus Wil Lutz scored nine points going 2-for-2 on field goals and 3-for-3 on extra points in a 27-26 overtime road win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football. On Thanksgiving Day, Texas State product and Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates scored six points with a 31-yard field goal and three extra points in a 31-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Defensively, White led the way with three solo tackles, one sack and two quarterback hits in the 49ers’ 26-8 road victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Making his first start with the 49ers this season, White sacked Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders on fourth down for a loss of 10 yards with 7:30 remaining in the fourth quarter. It was his first solo sack of the season.

App State alumnus and Arizona Cardinals linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither reached double-digit tackles for the second time this season with 10 in a 20-17 road loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Arkansas State alumnus and New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis recorded nine tackles in a 21-17 road defeat to the Miami Dolphins.

South Alabama alum and Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves registered seven tackles and one pass defended against the Broncos, as Marshall product and Ravens edge rusher Mike Green tallied five tackles and two quarterback hits against the Bengals.

All 14 Sun Belt programs have been represented on an NFL roster each week during the 2025 campaign. App State leads all Sun Belt teams with 10 former standouts on NFL rosters followed by Louisiana, South Alabama and Southern Miss with nine apiece.
