NEW ORLEANS – Seedings and matchups for the 2025 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Men’s Basketball Championship were announced Friday evening following the conclusion of the regular season.

The 2025 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will take place March 4-10 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla., with all 14 Sun Belt institutions competing in the single-elimination tournament.
 
Four teams claimed a share of the regular season title with 13-5 records in league play, including South Alabama, James Madison, Troy and Arkansas State.

Following changes to the tournament’s format prior to the season, No. 1 seed South Alabama and No. 2 seed James Madison receive byes to the tournament semifinals on Sunday, March 9, while No. 3 seed Troy and No. 4 seed Arkansas State will maintain byes to the quarterfinal round on Saturday, March 8.

All games will be broadcast on ESPN+ with the championship game televised by ESPN or ESPN2 at 6 p.m. CT on Monday, March 10.
