NEW ORLEANS – App State third-year forward Ellie Garrison and second-year defender Victoria Rocci earned the final Sun Belt Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors of the 2026 regular season after leading their respective teams to victories in their lone matches of the week.
 
Garrison earns Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week recognition for the third time in her career and first since Aug. 19, 2025, as Rocci is the first Jaguar to garner a Defensive Player of the Week nod since Sierra Giorgio on Oct. 21, 2025.
 
Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Ellie Garrison, App State

Garrison scored two goals for her third brace of the season in the Mountaineers’ 3-0 home win over Troy in Sunday’s regular season finale. Three of her five total shots were on frame in the match, as she set App State’s single-season records for goals (12) and points (26), as she scored for the ninth time in 10 Sun Belt matches.
 
Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Victoria Rocci, South Alabama
(2nd Yr. | D | Vaughan, Ontario, Canada)
 
Rocci played a pivotal role at both ends of the field in a 2-0 week for the Jags, registering three assists from her defensive position. She had two assists in the 3-1 home win over Georgia Southern on Oct. 28 before adding one assist in South Alabama’s 3-2 road victory at Louisiana Tech on Nov. 1.
