Men’s Basketball’s Marshall at Georgia Southern February 14 Matchup Elevated to ESPNU Broadcast

NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference, in conjunction with ESPN, announced that the Saturday, February 14 men’s basketball matchup between Marshall and Georgia Southern will be broadcast on ESPNU with an 8:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. CT tipoff at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center in Statesboro, Ga.

The game is the third of four wildcard appearances for the Sun Belt on the ESPN Family of Networks during the 2025-26 season. The final wildcard appearance will occur Friday, February 27 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on ESPN2 during the final night of the Sun Belt’s regular season.

The game will mark the first of two regular season matchups between Marshall (14-8, 6-4 SBC) and Georgia Southern (14-10, 6-5 SBC). It will also be the Eagles’ first men’s basketball game inside the Hill Convocation Center to be televised on a linear network since the venue opened in December 2024.

As part of the Sun Belt’s comprehensive media rights partnership with ESPN, which runs through the 2030-31 academic year, the Worldwide Leader in Sports will also broadcast the championship games of the 2026 Visit Pensacola Sun Belt Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships presented by Air Force Reserve on Monday, March 9. The men’s basketball championship game will air at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT on ESPN or ESPN2 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla.
