Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Bryce Blevins, Marshall
(Sr., LHP – Louisa, Ky.)  
 
Thundering Herd senior left-handed pitcher Bryce Blevins threw 8.1 innings of one-run baseball in an 8-1 series-opening victory over Old Dominion. The Louisa, Ky., native struck out seven and stranded eight Monarchs on the basepaths. Blevins carried a shutout into the ninth inning during the 124-pitch outing. He held opponents to a .194 batting average to earn his sixth win of the season—tied for the Sun Belt lead and 13th-most in the nation.  
 
Baseball Player of the Week
Jaquae Stewart, Texas State
(Jr., OF – Sinton, Texas) 
 
Bobcats junior outfielder Jaquae Stewart hit .421 (8-for-19) and slugged 1.211 in a 3-2 week for Texas State, including a signature 9-8 victory over then-No. 15 Texas A&M. The Sinton, Texas, product recorded five home runs, five runs scored and 17 RBI. Stewart had an RBI in all five games on the week, headlined by the go-ahead two-RBI single in the seventh inning versus the Aggies. In the series finale against Troy, Stewart carded the first three-homer, eight-RBI day for the Bobcats since 2024.
