Adam Miller was hired by the Sun Belt Conference as Associate Commissioner, Communications & Branding, in November 2023, and currently serves as the conference’s primary communications contact for women's soccer, men’s basketball, softball and beach volleyball.

Miller joined the Sun Belt following two-plus years as Director of Communications at the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. While there, he played an integral role in the organization being named 2023 Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (LACCE) Chamber of the Year in the large chamber category. Miller contributed to the Jefferson Chamber’s efforts to successfully renew its five-star accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce—a distinguished title garnered by just two percent of chambers nationally.

Miller served as Associate Director of Strategic Communications at Tulane University from 2016-21, as the primary communications contact for the Green Wave men’s basketball and men’s and women’s tennis programs. He managed all media credentials, headed the office's student assistantship program and was the editor of the department's academic annual report. During his tenure, he helped inspire the first Mardi Gras-themed uniforms for the men’s basketball program and successfully pitched stories featured in The New York Times and on ESPN’s SportsCenter.

Miller has also held athletic communications roles at East Carolina (2013-16), NC State (2012-13) and Duke (2011-12).

A native of Newburgh, N.Y., Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Business from Saint Leo University (2011), where he served as part of the athletic communications staff during his time as an undergraduate student. He is a member of College Sports Communicators (CSC) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA).
