Travis Llewellyn is in his 15th year at the Sun Belt Conference office in 2021-22, joining the staff as Director of Multimedia/New Media in December 2006. He transitioned to the role of Assistant Commissioner in 2008, was promoted to Associate Commissioner in 2015 and joined senior staff in April of 2021.
Llewellyn’s primary responsibilities include being the lead football administrator, overseeing the broadcasts for all sports and the conference’s new media efforts. He also manages the conference’s technology integration for its member institutions. In his time with the Sun Belt he has worked closely with the conference’s television partners, including the league-wide rollout of ESPN+
During his time with the Sun Belt, Llewellyn has overseen the advancement of the Sun Belt digital media efforts and worked with the conference’s television partners to increase the distribution and number of telecasts each year.
He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism emphasizing broadcast and a minor in political science. Llewellyn is a native of Rockville, Md., and resides with his wife Ashley in New Orleans.
