Cat Krawiec is in her third year at the Sun Belt Conference office in 2020-21, joining the staff as Assistant Director, Championships in October 2018, before being promoted to Assistant Commissioner, Championships and Sport Adminstration.
In her role, Krawiec is responsible for assisting and leading championship administration and operations of all Sun Belt Championship events, while also working with the coaches, officials, and campus administration.
She acts as the primary liaison for the league’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, working with student-athlete representatives from each SBC institution to develop and implement initiatives including community service, mental health, life-after-sport and the league’s Be The Change Initiative.
Krawiec made her way to the Sun Belt office by way of the NCAA national office where she served as a Championship and Alliances Postgraduate intern. While at the NCAA office, Krawiec worked in many facets of the organization such as event management, administration and operations. She assisted in the overall management and operations for several National Championships including DIII Women's Volleyball, DII Men's and Women's Basketball, National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics and Division I, II and III Men's Lacrosse.
Prior to the NCAA office, Krawiec was the Championships Assistant at the BIG EAST Conference where she assisted with the planning and execution of BIG EAST Olympic Sports Championships. She updated participant manuals for Olympic sports, created conference schedules for select sports and assisted with the coordination and delivery of awards, signage and equipment for events.
Krawiec is a 2013 Cum Laude graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and received her Masters of Sports Administration from FDU-Teaneck in 2015.
The South Plainfield, New Jersey native, is a mentor and active member of Women’s Leaders in College Sports and CEFMA and currently serves as the South Ambassador for CEFMA.
