Sophomore Matthew Cole took medalist honors at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, turning in scores under par all three rounds to help lead Arkansas State to the tournament title for the second straight season. The Red Wolves, ranked No. 61 in the nation, finished ahead of 13 teams, winning by 23 strokes. Cole claimed the tourney?s individual title for the second straight year as well, shooting a season-best three-round score of 206 as he finished atop the 74-player field. His 54-hole total was 10-under par and included rounds of 66 and 71 on the first day, while he concluded the two-day outing with a 69 as he held off nationally-ranked Hunter Richardson of UT Martin for the championship. Cole averaged 68.7 strokes per round at the tournament.

WOMEN

Frantiska picked up her first win as a Chanticleer with a career-best three-under 213 at the Charleston Invitational...She finished with three consecutive rounds of 72 or less in the event to reach her total...It was her first top-five finish and the second top-10 finish during the season...She now has 11 rounds of par or less on the season while here 74.0 stroke average is second on the team and third in the Sun Belt.
