OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kelley Hartman, South Alabama (Sr., MB, Woodstock, Ga.)
South Alabama senior middle blocker Kelley Hartman hit .430 in a pair of matches, including a career-high 29 kills at Georgia State. Hartman added six digs and four blocks in the five-set loss to the Panthers. She followed that with 10 kills, two digs and four blocks in the 3-0 victory over Georgia Southern. Her 29 kills tied Selena Chidester (2001) for the second-highest kill total in a five-set match in school history.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Baylor Bumford, Georgia Southern (So., MB, Winter Garden, Fla.)
Georgia Southern sophomore middle blocker Baylor Bumford set a school record with 15 blocks in the Eagles' win over Troy. Bumford averaged 2.43 blocks per set and hit .565 with 14 kills in 23 attempts in two matches. She added four digs and one service ace to round out her weekend.
 
SETTER OF THE WEEK
Brigitta Petrenko, Coastal Carolina (Fr., S, Eger, Hungary)
Coastal Carolina freshman setter Brigitta Petrenko helped quarterback the Chanticleers to a perfect 2-0 record with straight-set wins over ULM and Louisiana. Petrenko totaled 70 assists, averaging 11.67 per set. She also pitched in with six kills, including four in the win over Louisiana.
 
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Sam Bickley, Appalachian State (Fr., S, Galena, Ohio)
Appalachian State freshman setter Sam Bickley posted 91 assists (11.38 per set) in a pair of victories for the Mountaineers. In the 3-2 win over Louisiana, Bickley had 55 assists (11.00 per set) with six digs and one block. In the sweep of ULM, she totaled 36 assists (12.00 per set) with six digs and two blocks.
