Offensive Player of the Week
Madison Brown, Arkansas State

Madison Brown posted one of the best performances in Arkansas State history, tallying 34 kills (8.5 per set) in the Red Wolves' four-set win over Louisiana on Friday. Brown's 34 kills are the most by a player in NCAA Division I this season and the most by an A-State player in at least 10 years. In the same contest, Brown matched her career high with 15 digs. She also only committed seven errors in 80 attacks for a .338 attack percentage. On the weekend, Brown hit .254 with 67 kills (6.09 per set) with 26 digs (2.36 per set). She added four blocks. Brown leads the Sun Belt in kills per set (4.33).

Senior middle blocker Tyeranee Scott had a big weekend averaging 1.40 blocks per set. The highlight of her weekend came during a 3-1 victory vs. Little Rock where Scott posted a season-high nine blocks and also registered a career-high 17 kills.

Junior setter Emily DeWalt averaged 14.8 assists per set to go along with 3.2 digs per set, three kills, three blocks, and two aces. DeWalt posted a career-high 64 assists in the 3-1 victory vs. Little Rock. Her 36th assist of the match moving her to No. 5 on the Texas State all-time career assist list. The junior now has 3,078 career assists. The 64 assists is the highest total in a four-set match across Division I, and is tied for the second-most in a match this season.

Freshman Player of the Week
Clara Bednarek, Georgia State

Clara Bednarek helped lead Georgia State to two wins over App State on Saturday. In each of the weekend's contests, the Arizona native notched double-digit kills. She led the GSU offense in two of three meetings. Additionally, Bednarek held an impressive .515 hitting percentage during the second outing en route to accumulating 20 kills, her personal best. On defense, Bednarek recorded six blocks over the weekend. Her three-block performance during the series finale led the team.
