Offensive Player of the Week
Janell Fitzgerald, Texas State

Janell Fitzgerald led the Bobcats with 5.27 kills per set and paced the team with 1.18 blocks per set, turning in 68.5 total points (6.2 per set) over 11 sets. Fitzgerald hit double-digit kill marks in every match in the three-match weekend sweep at Arkansas State. The highlight of the weekend came in the series finale where Fitzgerald put up a career-high 30 kills (.434) and a career-best six total blocks, including five solo blocks. Her 30 kills is tied for the most in a five-set match in the NCAA this year with Florida's Elizaveta Lukianova.

Defensive Player of the Week
Lina Perugini, Coastal Carolina

While the high-powered attack gets most of the attention for the Chanticleers, the constant on the backline has been the great play of libero Lina Perugini. She led the Chants in digs in all three matches last week, as Coastal swept Georgia Southern 3-0 to take another three-match conference series sweep. Perugini totaled 58 digs on the week, including 16 in the first match, 19 in the second, and 23 in the third. Her digs helped start the attack that hit over .299 in two of the three matches, while she also added 14 set assists of her own. Coastal is off to its best start in program history at 14-0 and with the three straight-set wins this week over the Eagles, the Chants have now won 16 straight sets having not dropped one since Oct. 23 (Troy).

Setter of the Week
Avery Breaux, Louisiana

Avery Breaux delivered an all-around effort in Louisiana's key series win at UT Arlington which secured the No. 2 seed out of the Sun Belt West Division. Breaux scored at least three kills and recorded a double-double in assists and digs in all three matches. The Ragin' Cajuns' senior setter averaged 11.1 assists per set, 3.6 digs per set and posted a .321 hitting percentage throughout the series. She averaged at least 3.0 digs per set each contest and the 47 total digs marked her highest output in a conference series. In the series-opener, Breaux posted her fourth 50-plus assists effort of the season and a career-high 22 digs to help guide the Ragin' Cajuns to the reverse sweep which proved to be critical in landing the series victory. She played a key role in snapping a 1-1 match tie in Friday's nightcap, scoring a pair of dump kills during a 5-0 run that opened a 16-11 advantage in the third set.

Freshman of the Week
Erin Wyatt, Georgia State
(#6, Fr, OH - Spring, Texas)
Erin Wyatt propelled Georgia State's offense leading the Panthers to three victories over South Alabama, including two 3-0 sweeps. The Texas native recoded double-digit kill performances in each of the contests. During the second meeting, Wyatt recorded a career-best 17 en route to compiling a .452 hitting percentage. The 17 kills marked the fourth most kills by a Sun Belt player in a three-set match this season. Wyatt's personal best only lasted 24 hours. She threw down 19 kills the next day. Wyatt added 17 digs in the final match, marking her second double-double of her collegiate career.
