NEW ORLEANS – Arkansas State’s Julien Sale and ULM’s Chantal Dueringer claim Sun Belt weekly honors following top three individual finishes.
Men’s Golfer of the Week
Julien Sale, Arkansas State

In a deep 89-golfer field that featured 23 of the Top 100-ranked players in the nation, Red Wolves senior Julien Sale posted a nine-under par 207 (73-67-67—207) to tie for third at the Tiger Invitational. The Saint-Louis, Reunion Island, native carded a one-over par 73 to open the tournament, but closed with back-to-back five-under 67s to climb the leaderboard at RTJ Grand National. Sale owns a 69.89 adjusted scoring average on the season and was listed at No. 7 in the latest NCAA Division I Golfstat rankings.
Women’s Golfer of the Week
Chantal Dueringer, ULM
(So. – Bregenz, Austria)
Sophomore Chantal Dueringer earned the highest individual finish of her ULM career and led the Warhawks to a tie for second place as a team at the Bama Beach Bash. The Bregenz, Austria, native posted a one-over par 217 (73-72-72—217) to place second in the 90-golfer field at Gulf Shores Golf Club. Dueringer carded a one-over par 73 to open the tournament and closed the event with back-to-back even-par 72s. She led the tournament field in par 3 scoring at three-under par and paced the Warhawks with 36 pars over 54 holes.
