NEW ORLEANS – Georgia Southern’s Kishyah Anderson put up back-to-back 20+ point performances, earning Sun Belt women’s basketball player of the week.

Anderson produced a pair of 20+ point performances as Georgia Southern is off to its best start in Sun Belt history, sitting at 5-1 in league action. In the teams win over James Madison she hit 12-of-14 shots from the floor en route to a season-high 26 points in the Eagles' 77-70 win. She followed that with 22-point, nine rebound performance in the Eagles' 77-60 win over Old Dominion. Anderson had three steals in each of the two games, averaging 24.0 points, seven rebounds, three steals and shot 67.9% from the floor on the week.
She has tallied 20+ point games in four of her last five contests and is shooting 58% in Sun Belt play this season.
