Troy 72, Samford 52
TROY, Alabama – Chanda Rigby won her 100thgame as Troy's head coach and Sky'Lynn Holmes posted her sixth double-double as the Trojans rolled Samford, 72-52, in Trojan Arena on Monday.

The Trojans (1-1) have now won 43 of the last 53 games on their home court and snapped a three-game skid against the Bulldogs (1-2). Troy led by as many as 23 and posted 23 offensive rebounds that resulted in 23 second-chance points.

Georgia State 67, FIU 61
Georgia State women’s basketball earned a 67-61 win at FIU Monday night to improve to 3-0 on the season under new head coach Gene Hill.

Debuting brand new black uniforms, the GSU Panthers outlasted the FIU Panthers at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center behind a 20-point performance by Jada Lewis. It was the second time in as many games the guard reached the 20-point mark.

Arkansas State 77, Memphis 66
JONESBORO, Ark. (11/12/18) – Led by four players scoring in double figures, including sophomore forward Peyton Martin with a career-high 20 points, the Arkansas State women’s basketball team defeated Memphis 77-66 Monday night at First National Bank Arena in its home opener.

Collecting their second all-time victory over Memphis and their first since 1988, the Red Wolves evened their record at 1-1 on the young season. A-State improved its all-time record in home openers to 40-6 with 17 of those victories coming under the direction of head coach Brian Boyer. The Tigers saw their record move to 1-1 with the loss.

Mercer 79, Georgia Southern 72
STATESBORO – Keke Calloway netted 32 points, including 18 of Mercer's last 20, to lead the Bears to a 79-72 non-conference women's basketball victory over Georgia Southern Monday night in Hanner Fieldhouse.

The back-and-forth contest featured 32 ties and 12 lead changes.
