Arkansas State 60, Mississippi Valley State 57
JONESBORO, Ark. (12/13/18) – Peyton Martin scored a game-high 20 points as the Arkansas State women’s basketball team defeated Mississippi Valley State 60-57 for its fourth straight win Thursday afternoon in front of a crowd of 5,412 at First National Bank Arena.

The attendance figure ranks as the second largest single-game crowd in women’s basketball history and ranks as the seventh largest crowd game in program history (including doubleheaders).

The Red Wolves built a 15 point lead early in the third quarter after Morgan Wallace grabbed one of her six rebounds on the day and converted a layup on the other end. Wallace also finished in double figures with 11 points and also added two steals on the defensive end.

Georgia State 79, Kennessaw State 73 (OT)
ATLANTA- Walnatia Wright scored a career-high 18 points and blocked the potential game-winning shot in regulation as Georgia State overcame a 13-point second-half deficit to defeat Kennesaw State 79-73 in overtime on Thursday at the GSU Sports Arena.

Jada Lewis led five Panthers in double figures with 19 points. K.K. Williams scored 12, Kierra Henry had 10 and Allison Johnson had eight boards to go along with 10 points, including a three-point play to seal with win for Georgia State (4-3) in overtime.

Wright, whose previous career-high was 15 points, set in the season opener against UNCG, also pulled down nine rebounds as the Panthers snapped a three-game losing streak.
