Bobcats End 2018 by Defeating Dustdevils, 89-25

Texas State 89, Texas A&M International 25
SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's basketball team (5-7) closed out the 2018 calendar year by ousting the Texas A&M International Dustdevils (0-12), 89-25, on Monday night at Strahan Arena. The game marked the final non-conference tilt for the Bobcats during the 2018-19 season and halted a season-long three-game losing skid.

Texas A&M International's scoring output of 25 points was the lowest opponent final score since the Bobcats held Our Lady of the Lake to the same score on Feb. 21, 1973.

Freshman forward Da'Nasia Hood enjoyed a career outing, scoring a game-high 22 points and grabbing seven rebounds off the bench. She connected on 9-of-14 shots from the floor and 3-of-4 from the free throw line. Hood also tallied one block and a steal in 22 minutes of run.
