Coastal Carolina 77, Texas State 70
CONWAY - Junior guards DJ Williams and Caitlin Roche combined for 45 points, including 29 in the second half, as Coastal Carolina took control down the stretch to earn a 77-70 win over Texas State Saturday at the HTC Center.

The Chanticleers, who also got 10 points from sophomore forward Alise Davis, improved their record to 12-10 overall and 4-7 in the conference after winning four of their last five games.

ULM 80, Georgia Southern 62
Statesboro, Ga. – Lauren Fitch scored a game-high 15 points, leading four ULM players in double figures, as the Warhawks snapped a seven-game losing streak with a huge second half in an 80-62 win over Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon at Hanner Fieldhouse.

The win also marks the first road win in the Sun Belt Conference for ULM since February 25, 2016, at South Alabama, a string of 24 consecutive road losses. he Warhawks claimed control of the game with a 19-2 third quarter run.

Georgia State 74, Louisiana 71
ATLANTA - Jada Lewis scored 18 points and hit five huge free-throws in the final minute of the game to help Georgia State hang on to defeat Louisiana 74-71 Saturday at GSU Sports Arena.

After trailing by as many as nine late in the third quarter, Georgia State (13-9, 7-4) took the lead with 2:33 left in the game and never let up, shooting 72.7% in the fourth quarter. In a game with 10 lead changes and 10 ties, the Panthers’ bench outscored Louisiana (6-17, 4-8 Sun Belt) 18-3 as the Panthers also shot 8-for-18 from long range.

Little Rock 47, South Alabama 44
LITTLE ROCK- It was a hard-fought battle between the Trojans and the South Alabama Jaguars, but late defense and clutch free-throw shooting down the stretch gave Little Rock the edge in a 47-44 victory.

Ronjanae DeGray notched a double-double and led the Trojan offense with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Kyra Collier tallied 11 points on the night and also grabbed five rebounds.

Troy 100, Arkansas State 89
JONESBORO, Arkansas – Five Troy players scored in double figures as the Trojans hit 14 three-pointers to light up the scoreboard in a 100-89 win over Arkansas State in First National Bank Arena on Saturday.

The Trojans (17-5, 8-3 SBC) made 14 three-pointers, shot 51.9 percent from range, totaled 21 assists and forced 23 turnovers en route to the regular season sweep of the Red Wolves and the seventh consecutive win in the all-time series for Troy.

UTA 72, Appalachian State 65
BOONE, N.C. - The Lady Mavericks led wire-to-wire in a 72-65 Sun Belt Conference win over Appalachian State on Saturday afternoon at the Holmes Center. With the win, UTA extends their winning streak to six games and improves to 18-5 overall (10-2 SBC), while App State falls to 12-10 on the season and 6-5 in conference play.
