Little Rock Holds 36-Hole Lead at Sun Belt Men's Golf Championship

, Ark. – (First Round Results | Second Round Results | Third Round Pairings) After 12 hours and 36 holes of golf on Sunday, Little Rock paces the 12-team field at the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Men’s Golf Championship. 
 
The Trojans shot even-par 288 in Round 1 and followed that up with a 6-over par 294 in Round 2 to hold a two-stroke lead over Georgia Southern (+8, 584) at the par-72, 7,318-yard Mystic Creek Golf Club. 
 
The defending champion Eagles carded back-to-back 4-over par 292s to sit two strokes back of Little Rock and 10 strokes ahead of UTA (+18, 594), who will join Georgia Southern and Little Rock in Tuesday’s top pairing. 
 
In anticipation of inclement weather in El Dorado on Monday, April 25, the Sun Belt elected to play 36 holes on Sunday. The final round of stroke play will be contested as originally scheduled, with tee times slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday, April 26. 
 
Little Rock senior Anton Albers (70-73—143) sits 1-under par 143 to hold the 36-hole individual lead over the 60-player field. Reigning individual medalist senior Ben Carr (74-71—145) out of Georgia Southern and senior Marcel Rauch (72-73—145) out of Little Rock are just two strokes back of Albers at 1-over par 145. 
 
Georgia State (+24, 600), ULM (+25, 601), App State (+26, 602), South Alabama (+29, 605), Coastal Carolina (+30, 606), Louisiana (+35, 611), Arkansas State (+35, 611), Texas State (+37, 613) and Troy (+39, 615) round out the conference championship field. 

The third and final round of stroke play begins at 8:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and live scored via Golfstat
