Georgia Southern at Coastal Carolina Football Kickoff Moved to 7 p.m. ET

NEW ORLEANS — Due to the potential effects of Hurricane Ian, the Georgia Southern at Coastal Carolina football game scheduled for 4 p.m. ET Saturday has been moved to a 7 p.m. ET kickoff.

The game will remain on Saturday, Oct. 1, and be broadcast on ESPN+.

Coastal Carolina is 1-of-21 remaining unbeaten teams in the FBS, while Georgia Southern is 1-of-4 Sun Belt teams with a victory over an autonomy five program this season.

The game is the conference opener for the Eagles and the conference home opener for the Chanticleers. Reserved tickets and parking are sold out for the contest—the second sellout of the season at Brooks Stadium.

Georgia Southern leads the all-time series 5-3 over Coastal Carolina, though the Chanticleers have proven victorious in each of the past two seasons.
