NEW ORLEANS – Georgia Southern’s Aaron James Williams and App State’s Savannah Dada-Mascoll each went undefeated in league action to earn Sun Belt Conference Tennis Players of the Week honors. 

Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
Aaron James Williams, Georgia Southern

Georgia Southern sophomore Aaron James Williams played a critical role in Georgia Southern's 3-0 week this week, providing the clinching doubles points vs. Georgia State and Chattanooga. The Dusseldorf, Germany native also picked up three straight set wins in singles play. Williams went an unbeaten 6-0 this week (3-0 singles, 3-0 doubles) and won all his singles matches in two sets.

Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Savannah Dada-Mascoll, App State

To open Sun Belt Conference play, App State sophomore Savannah Dada-Mascoll secured her first conference win over JMU’s Daria Munteanu, 6-3, 6-0, as App State’s No. 1 on Saturday. With the Yorkshire, England, native’s win on Saturday, she has won eight consecutive matches at the No. 1 singles position for the Mountaineers to accumulate a record of 8-1 this season.
