NEW ORLEANS – 29 Sun Belt women’s tennis student-athletes were recognized by the College Sports Communicators with Academic All-District honors for their performance on the court and in the classroom.
 
Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State and Old Dominion each had four individual honors as Texas State’s Ireland Simme was considered for the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
 
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
 
The 2026 Academic All-District® Women’s Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women’s tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District® Women’s Tennis Team, an individual must hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA (both undergraduate and graduate), be a sophomore or older and have played in at least 70% of the team's matches during the spring.
