NEW ORLEANS – Fifteen Sun Belt men’s track and field and cross country student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men’s Track & Field Team, announced this week.
15 student-athletes from the league were named to the list, with Arkansas State leading the way with three honorees. App State, Southern Miss, Texas State, Troy and ULM each had a pair of honorees. Coastal Carolina and South Alabama each had one.
To be nominated for CSC Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA at their current institution, and have finished in the top-50 individually at a 2024 NCAA regional cross country meet or rank in the top-50 in the region in an individual event indoor or outdoor track & field event.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 16, 2025.
