15 Sun Belt Student-Athletes Earn USTFCCCA All-America Honors at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – 15 Sun Belt student-athletes competed at the 2025 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon and earned All-America Honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Athletes of member institutions earned First-Team All-America status by finishing among the top-8 of their events – including as a member of a relay – at the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Second-Team All-America honors went to those student-athletes who finished between ninth and 16th place.

Honorable mention went to those student-athletes who finished 17th through 24th in their respective events at Hayward Field.

Headlining the group of Sun Belt All-America honorees was Georgia Southern senior Imani Moore, as she was honored with the NCAA's ELITE 90 award. Moore earned Honorable Mention All-America Honors for her finish at the championship in the long jump.

The NCAA ELITE 90 award honors the exceptional achievements of student-athletes. This prestigious accolade is given to those who have not only excelled at a national championship level in their sport but have also achieved the highest academic standards among their peers. The Elite 90 is proudly awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site for each of the NCAA's 90 championships.

App State freshman Lilly Nichols matched her program record of 4.24m (13' 11") to tie for 17th in the women's pole vault. Nichols earned an All-America Honorable Mention for her efforts and is the second Mountaineer in three years to earn the honor, after Jada Branch collected an All-America Honorable Mention for her performance in the women's triple jump at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Arkansas State Track and Field featured four All-America honorees with Colby Eddowes, Noa Isaia, Bradley Jelmert and Carly Pujol.

Eddowes opened his second day of the decathlon with a first-place finish in the 110m hurdles and finished 16th in the discus (38.59m/126-7), 15th in the pole vault (4.51m/14-9.5), 18th in the javelin (47.02m/154-3), and 16th in the 1500 meters (4:44.71). He set a new personal best with 7,725 points and placed eighth, earning First Team All-America laurels in the decathlon for the first time. It is the second time Eddowes earned First Team All-America honors, last earning it at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships (heptathlon).

Isaia placed 19th in the hammer throw, posting a mark of 65.08/213-6 over three attempts to earn an Honorable Mention All-America honors.

Jelmert cleared 5.63m/18-5.5 in the pole vault to finish third among 24 contestants and claim bronze. The finish secured a First Team All-America distinction, the third All-America honor of his career.

Pujol posted a height of 4.24m/13-11 in the women's pole vault finals, tying for 12th place. She earned Second Team All-America honors for the first time in her career.

Louisiana’s Jeremy Nelson earned Second Team All-America honors in the triple jump. The junior placed 15th overall after completing a second jump of 50-8.75/15.46 for his best of the night. Nelson became the program's first All-American in the outdoor men's triple jump since Lawrence Willis did so in 2003 and 2004.

Representing Southern Miss, De'Aundre Ward secured Second-Team All-America honors in the long jump, as Kelsey Singleton earned Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 400-meter dash. Ward posted a mark of 7.73 meters to place 12th overall and earn All-America status, while Singleton finished 18th in his semifinal heat.

Texas State athletes Aiden Hayes and Kason O'Riley became the first Bobcats since Charles Austin in 1990 to finish on the podium in the men's high jump. The pair of jumpers tied for second overall in the event and both cleared the 2.20m/7-2.5 bar.

This marked both the fourth and fifth time in Texas State history a high jumper has placed second or better in the event at an NCAA Championship meet. The pair joins Charles Austin and Marion Strong. Both Hayes and O'Riley earned their first NCAA First Team All-America honors as well due to their second-place finish.

Fellow Bobcat Chris Preddie earned second Team All-America honors in the men's long jump. Preddie marked a jump of 7.62m/25-0 and finished in 14th place to earn his second All-American honor in his career. He previously earned the honor in 2023 when he placed 14th in the event at the Outdoor Championships. Preddie also competed in the triple jump at the championship.

On the women’s side for Texas State, Lara Roberts (hammer throw) and Melanie Duron (shot put), earned All-America status for the second time in their careers.

Roberts placed third in the women's hammer throw with a mark of 70.42m and became the third Bobcat in program history to place third or better in the event at the championship meet. Her mark went down as the ninth-best throw in TXST history. Her third-place finish gave her first team All-America honors and marked the second time in her career she has been named an All-America (second team 2024). She also became the 14th athlete in program history to make multiple appearances at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships (2024 & 2025).

Duron placed 18th in the women's shot put with a mark of 16.59m/54-5.25 to earn Honorable Mention All-America honors. She is the first Texas State athlete to earn All-America honors in the women's shot put since Alyssa Wilson in 2022.

Sophomore Stafon Roach represented the ULM outdoor track and field team, placing eighth overall with a 15.99m/52-5.5 mark in the triple jump. Roach was named First Team All-America for the triple jump. It marks the second consecutive year a Warhawk has earned First Team All-America honors, following Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi in 2024.
