NEW ORLEANS – Four Sun Belt Conference men’s basketball players received 2025-26 NABC Division I All-District Team recognition, as announced by the organization.
All four selections were named to the second team in their respective regions, including Coastal Carolina graduate guard Joshua Beadle (South Atlantic Region), Troy junior forward Thomas Dowd (Southeast Region), South Alabama graduate guard Chaze Harris (Southeast Region) and Texas State freshman forward D.J. Hall (Gulf Region).
An All-Sun Belt First Team honoree, Beadle led the Chanticleers in scoring at 17.5 points per game, ranked second in the Sun Belt in field goal attempts (466), third in field goals made (200), fifth in scoring (17.5), ninth in free throws made (129) and 10th in free throw attempts (172). He scored in double figures in 26 games and recorded 13 20-point performances, including two 30-point outings. He set career highs in every statistical category and scored 568 points in 32 games after totaling 365 points across 96 career games entering the season.
The 2026 Sun Belt Tournament Most Outstanding Player and an All-Sun Belt First Team selection, Dowd was the conference’s only player to average a double-double with 14.8 points and 10.1 rebounds. Additionally, his 17 double-doubles ranked in the top 10 nationally, while his rebounds per contest stand 15th among all NCAA Division I players.
The 2026 Sun Belt Player of the Year, Harris led all Sun Belt players with 22 points per contest in conference play. Harris closed the regular season ranked seventh nationally in field goals made and free throw attempts while his 633 total points are among the top 50 players nationally. The senior guard shot 53.6 percent from the field overall and 58.2 percent in league games and tallied 13 20-point games, including three 30-point performances while scoring in double-figures 31 times. Demonstrating his all-around impact, the Cleveland, Ohio native ranked second in the Sun Belt in assists (4.6) and fourth in steals (1.6) per game.
The 2026 Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and an All-Sun Belt Second Team honoree, Hall led the Bobcats in scoring (15.6) and rebounding (7.7). He made 54.2 percent of his shots which ranked second among all players in the conference. He recorded nine double-doubles and has at least 20 points in eight contests. The freshman also totaled 73 assists, 44 steals and 12 blocks.
The NABC introduced a new model for its Division I district alignment last season with schools arranged by state rather than by conference. The modernized
NABC Division I district alignment features 10 geographic regions that each encompass multiple states. Every Division I school in each given state belongs to that state’s corresponding district
