NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference and TrackMan have agreed to a first-of-its-kind, conference-wide partnership that will provide each Sun Belt softball program with Trackman technology at its home facility beginning with the 2027 season.
The partnership positions the Sun Belt as a national leader in collegiate softball by becoming the first conference to provide every member institution with the same elite player development technology.
Additionally, the agreement also includes conference-wide access to Trackman's Umpire Evaluation platform and Live Dugout Dashboard (pending NCAA approval), further enhancing player development, game preparation, and game management across the conference.
“As one of the nation’s premier conferences in the diamond sports, the Sun Belt is committed to investing in technology to improve the game,” said Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Keith Gill. “Trackman has been a valuable Sun Belt partner in the sport of baseball since 2023 and we look forward to expanding our relationship with the nation’s first conference-wide deal in the sport of softball beginning with this upcoming season.”
TrackMan uses patented Optically Enhanced Radar Tracking (OERT) to record and deliver data from tracking systems installed in stadiums. TrackMan is used by all 30 Major League Baseball teams, top amateur organizations, prominent collegiate summer leagues and is embedded in more than 500 stadiums around the world.

The technology will be used for all conference softball games during the 2027 campaign.
