About the GoDaddy BOWL
The GoDaddy Bowl is an annual football bowl game played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. The bowl has been in existence since 1999. The game was previously known as the Mobile Alabama Bowl from 1999 to 2000 at which time GMAC came on board as a title sponsor from 2000 to 2010. Website domain leader, Godaddy.com, became the official title sponsor in 2010 and has been the games title sponsor since. A Sun Belt Conference team first played in the game in 2010 when Troy made its first appearance. In 2011 the Sun Belt Conference became a primary partner with the game – assuring that a Sun Belt team will play in the game each year. Arkansas State won the 2013 and 2014 GoDaddy Bowl.
