Georgia State's Hash Earns Volleyball Academic All-America Honors

2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Women’s Volleyball Teams

AUSTIN, Texas – Georgia State junior outside hitter Morgan Hash has been selected to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America® NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Second Team, as selected by CoSIDA.

In the classroom, Hash holds a 4.15 grade point average in public health. She has spent three-straight semesters on the President’s List, reserved for students with at least a 4.00 GPA.

On the court, Hash ranked third among all Panthers in kills with 136, adding 50 digs, 26 total blocks and 10 service aces, in 69 sets played. She reached the double-digit kill mark six times on the year and had at least 10 kills while hitting over .290 on three separate occasions.

Hash becomes the Sun Belt Conference’s first Academic All-America honoree since Georgia Southern’s Kym Coley was a second-team selection in 2014.
