CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina improved to 19-4 and 3-0 in the Sun Belt defeating Georgia State on Sunday afternoon by the score 5-0 behind a shutout from sophomore Kaitlin Beasley-Polko shutout and the offensive punch from freshman Abbey Montoya who had two home runs on the day.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – A four-run fourth inning built a sizeable margin for No. 11 Louisiana and led to a 7-4 win over Texas State which completed a series sweep on Sun Belt Conference opening weekend.

ARLINGTON, Texas – Whitney Walton had another great game as she reached base and scored after every at-bat on the way to an 8-1 win for the Mavericks against Southern Alabama Sunday at Allen Saxe Field. The earned the Mavericks a clean sweep over the Jaguars, marking the first opening weekend sweep for UT Arlington since joining the Sun Belt Conference.
