STATESBORO, Ga. – With three runs down after four innings play, the Coastal Carolina softball team fought back to beat the Georgia Southern Eagles by the score of 5-4 on Saturday afternoon as it improves to 22-5 overall and 4-1 in Sun Belt play. The Chanticleers used solo home runs in the back-to-back-to-back innings by Taylor Sweigart, Alexis Alvino, and Sydney Guess to help in the victory.

LAFAYETTE, La. – Sarah Hudek and Julie Rawls delivered the big hits and combined for six RBI as No. 10 Louisiana captured a Sun Belt Conference series from Troy with an 8-0 (6 inn.) win in front of a season-high 2,173 fans on Saturday at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park.

MONROE, La. – Extra innings were needed in game two between Appalachian State (16-7, 5-0 Sun Belt) and ULM (4-21, 1-4). App State defeated the Warhawks 4-2 in eight innings on Saturday.
