PANTHERSVILLE, Ga.  - Appalachian State (19-8, 7-1 Sun Belt) needed eight innings to beat conference foe Georgia State (5-25, 3-5) in game two on Saturday. The Mountaineers rallied to score four runs in the seventh inning and one in the eighth to win the game.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State (14-15, 4-4 Sun Belt) distanced themselves from ULM (4-25, 1-7) behind a five-run seventh inning on Saturday afternoon at the ULM Softball Complex. The Bobcats earned an 8-2 decision.

MOBILE, Ala. – Ninth-ranked Louisiana continued its home run surge on Saturday fueling an 11-2 (5 inn.) win over South Alabama which captured the series victory. Louisiana (25-4, 8-0 Sun Belt) launched three home runs, increasing the USA series total to seven. It also marked the eighth game of multiple home runs in the past 11 games.
