CONWAY, S.C. – Kelly Horne's two out two-run home run powered Troy over Coastal Carolina, 5-3, to complete the Sun Belt Conference sweep Sunday afternoon at Charles Wade-John Lott Field. It's Troy's first sweep in conference play since Troy swept Appalachian State last season.

MONROE, La. – Texas State (15-15, 5-4 Sun Belt) squeaked by ULM (4-26, 1-8) in a defensive struggle at the ULM Softball Complex. Texas State scored two late runs to defeat ULM 2-0.

Appalachian State 7, Georgia State 0
PANTHERSVILLE, Ga. – With the possibility of a Sun Belt series loss hanging in the balance, the Mountaineers made sure they would leave no doubt in Game 3. With three runs in the first inning and four in the third, Appalachian State (20-8, 8-1 Sun Belt) shut out Georgia State (5-26, 3-6) 7-0 to win the Sun Belt Conference road series. It is their third straight Sun Belt series win this season.

ARLINGTON, Texas – Randi Phillips allowed just two runs in a complete-game effort as the UT Arlington softball team (16-14, 6-3 SBC) clinched a series win over Georgia Southern with a 4-2 win at Allan Saxe Field on Sunday afternoon.

MOBILE, Ala. – Summer Ellyson crafted a no-hitter and the offense produced double digits in both runs and hits for the third time in the series as No. 9 Louisiana completed the sweep of South Alabama with a 14-0 (6 inn.) triumph.
